Valhalla

It's been a bad morning for the europeans, who lost three of the four contests. Poulter and Rose have been allright though, and Padraig Harrington has been superb. It's pretty shiny out there, with no wind. I wish I too was a rich Fx and I could amble all day long on a grassy sunny slope. But the last time I played golf, about fifteen years ago up in the alpes of all places, I sent the club 20 yards away. The ball just rolled a little bit. I had to leave the training ground.

Ryder

Or maybe it should be about golf. My all time golf hero (that's from spending july in England in my youth) is Nick Faldo, captain of the european team for the Ryder cup due to start this friday. I was pleased to read that there are currently the remnants of Hurricane ike on the course. Let's hope it lingers out there in Louisville.

forecast

Should this blog only be about the weather? I bet some looser has already thought of that, it’s always the same with good ideas would say my father. Anyway, according to the BBC, tomorrow should be a nice sunny day here in Liverpool, Merseyside, with temperatures reaching 18C.
